Doubletree by Hilton Hattiesburg

Very friendly staff, super clean. The bar and restaurant were both excellent, pool was indoor heated and well maintained. The lobby also offers a small market with deli sandwiches, snacks, tv dinners, and beverages that were well stocked. Rooms were spacious and clean very comfortable. Plenty of electric sockets and USB by the bed for CPAP and heldheld electronic charging.

Positive: The view Negative: Yes at 2:30 Am Sunday morning 6 men were playing basketball just below our window. I tried to call no one answered the phone.

Typical fairly new sterile corporate hotel. Everything was in good shape as pics show. Room had microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board and iron. AC worked well. Room safe was not secured really well, it could have been pulled up and carried off. Bathroom, fixtures and other furniture was nice. I would probably stay here again. It is a cookie cutter hotel, identical to many across the country. It has no unique individuality.

Honestly I can say nothing but praises for this location especially the wonderful staff at the bar. They were more than welcome and made me feel right at home. One especially stood out I think her name was Alex. She was absolutely wonderful and took care of everything quickly and efficiently. I’ll definitely be back here.

I was very happy with my stay. First time here the young lady at the front desk took very good care of me. I didn't check in until late, but Marie took excellent care of me. She should definitely be rewarded for great customer service! We need more people like her.
