Discovery Inn Ukiah

When we arrived we could see people smoking in 3 different locations. By the time we got our stuff in the door the whole room smelled like weed. Everything seemed reasonably clean though the bathtub was quiet beat up. The floor seemed clean but I didn’t want my 3 yr old going barefoot or my baby crawling on the floor which is all they wanted to do after driving all day! There were holes in the ceiling. That being said, front desk was very sweet and helpful on check in. When we decided to leave and not stay overnight, they were also very helpful and sympathetic, offered to give us a different room, but couldn’t at the time guarantee a refund if we left (which we did stay elsewhere). She left a message for her manager and I got a call the next morning saying that we’d be refunded the entire

Very mixed feelings. Front desk staff was great. They were out of 'good' pet rooms, offered one in the far back of the hotel. They were super careful to be sure I was ok with the room. I was somewhat desperate as I needed some where to stay. Room was pretty dodgy, as were the neighbors. The rooms and clientele in front looked fine. On one hand, I'm happy they are providing housing were it is obviously needed. On the other, it makes it hard for me to recommend to other travelers.

Traveling with family through Ukiah, we stopped for a night so we are on a budget. The Motel 6 was convenient right off 101 and we were able to charge our car, eat and stay at the motel 6 very conveniently. Katrina checked us in and Olga checked us out. We chatted with Jonathan and he helped us with a few items we needed for the room. Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend it to others! Wingstop was nice to have within a few second away! Great property, very clean, easy access and friendly staff!!!

My husband and I stayed at motel 6 during Xmas. This place was the worst place I have ever been. very dirty, moldy bathroom, poop fingerprints on wall. no furniture, just a bed and TV that did not work. I woke up with bug bites. Very dangerous at night, you go out at your own risk. We booked 4 days and left the next day. I can't believe the health dept. does not close them down.

I have more photos to add but they limit. Whatever pictures they took to make it appear the place is remodeled is a lie. They must have had a professional do a couple rooms and then they did the rest themselves. There are bugs. The beds are a 1000 years old. Drug deals at night in the parking lot. No change from the old name of Discovery Inn. We wanted a Non-Smoking room. They gave us a stank smoking room and wouldn't move us. This place is so bad. We booked through a competitors app. We were hoodwinked as if it was a new motel 6 in Ukiah.
