Dickson Street Inn

We had a great stay for our event at the Walton Arts Center. We had a room at the back, which was cozy and quiet. The bed was comfy. I wish we had booked two nights so we could have enjoyed that whirlpool tub.

Positive: No hassle check in and check out. Location is fantastic. Walking distance to all of the downtown area entertainment, shopping and restaurants. Amenities were very nice. Negative: I was in room 5. It was a little loud until late as it is right on the street. However, if you out with the crowd it is not an issue at all.

Really shouldn't be under B&B it creates certain expectations that leaves you feeling let down. Parking is a major issue. We drove around for an hour hoping someone in the "overflow" would move and we wouldn't have to park blocks away and walk back. My husband had a toe removed a few wks back and we had driven to Fayetteville from Vian, Ok to catch the ballgame. We called about the parking & was told its 1st come 1st serve and this includes the party goers from the bars. The mattress was lumpy and so hard we felt well over 60 instead of comfy middle age lol. TV was about 24in with no HBO or anything maybe 5 local channels. Thankfully I had brought my iPad to play on because my husband fell right to sleep. The lovely balcony I was wanting to check out was full of college students partying..

This place was AWESOME!! The shower was a 10/10 The location is perfect walking distance from many places. We went to a concert at Georges Majestic, which was a 6 min walk. There are so many food options. Sitting on the balcony just watching traffic and people made an hour pass quick. If you use their parking lot behind the building, I highly recommend to back into a spot 😉 AC worked perfectly nice and chilly in the room all night at 66° and it blows right down onto the bed!! 😍 The bed in room 5 was a little on the squeaky side. If you are in there with a companion and you're gonna have relations with them.....people in room 4 are gonna hear you for sure.

I’m honestly confused by the high ratings for this “Inn.” Yes, it’s located right on Dickson Street, which is great for bar access—but that’s about where the positives end. The rooms desperately need attention. The bedding was uncomfortable, and the pillows were the worst I’ve ever used. There was no staff on-site during our two-day stay, which made things feel unwelcoming and unmanaged. Worst of all, our room was located at the front, directly next to the outdoor patio of the bar next door. It was impossible to sleep until around 2am due to the constant yelling and noise from intoxicated patrons. Even the noise machine on the nightstand and the thin walls didn’t help. I relied on the reviews before booking and now suspect many might not be genuine, as hardly anyone mentioned the noise i
