Courtyard by Marriott Fayetteville

I would have done 5 stars all the way across, but there was no microwave in my room. Love the Bistro staff and everyone was super friendly. Everything else was great!

It's a nice place to stay. A couple of good restaurants nearby (Kobe, olive garden, pizzeria). The staff were really friendly. Liked the breakfast option. It has a gym and a small pool. The pool was supposed to be heated but we found it cold. The hot tub was out of service when it visited it.

Positive: "" Negative: Pricey room for no breakfast or food amenities at all. Water pressure very low. Shower lukewarm at best. Gym sub-par (treadmills way too close together - that was awkward). Only clean every other day - unacceptable. No mirrors in room besides bathroom.

Shame on this hotel for not posting an advisory when booking. This hotel is undergoing major renovations.I was traveling for work and stayed 2 days. I was placed on the 3rd floor and the 4th is closed due to renovations. The first day was noisy but bearable . The second day I finished work early and got back to the hotel at 2pm around 4 my room started smelling like varnish. I had to meet a client for dinner and when I stepped into the hallway to leave my room the smell was overwhelming. I have asthma and had issues all night. They hotel did their best to open windows and clear it out but this was irresponsible not alerting guests that volatile chemicals were being used while they stayed operational during a remodel.

I stayed here for a couple of days and one night I didn't feel like going out to eat or getting a pizza delivered to my room. The good thing is they have a little restaurant on the 1st floor and decided to order from them. I got the buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing and crunchy fries. They were very good. 👍
