Diamond Resorts

We stayed at Beach Woods Resort in Kitty Hawk, NC: We notified the front desk that we have large roaches in our room and requested to be moved to another room. The manager stated that they did not have any rooms available. I went online and saw that the resort offered reservations, so I booked another room. The same manager called upset, stating that she sees that we made another reservation and our new room would be upstairs from the current roach invested room and that we would be charged for both rooms, because it was after checkout time (check out time is 10 and we notified them of the roaches and requested a room charge around 12 noon). Decided to book a room for me and my fiancé, upon entering the room automatically noticed that the jetted that we were going to use was dirty, bugs in the room, dirty sheets and dishes. Will not choose this location or property again. Kinda ruined our Valentines Day weekend because we didn’t even stay the full night due to the displeasure of the room.

It's difficult to even give Diamond Resorts one star...truly truly terrible service. BUYER BEWARE...and by buyer beware I mean DO NOT INVEST IN TRAVEL OR TIMESHARE WITH DIAMOND RESORTS. As soon as you leave the property you'll be treated as if you are less useful than roach snot. If you experience a life change and no longer want to own with Diamond, get ready for a real ride. They'll lie, cuss at you, hang up on you and give you less than all the information. Kick rocks, Diamond Resorts.

I have NEVER heard of this place before and, when I heard of timeshare before, I honestly thought it was a scam. My mom and I are on vacation and have never been to VA Beach, so we parked the car and started on the boardwalk. We went to a Braids/Henna place, a candy shop, then got pulled into one of those vacation openings - usually where people hurry past so they don't get pulled in. But, since we're on vacay, we decided to just stop and soak in their air conditioning. We spoke with Jerome for nearly 20 minutes. This kid had such amazing energy and he was so open and friendly. He explained just enough that we decided to try the conference - not to mention the free tickets to the waterpark. Then we found out it was all the way up on 32nd st and we were on 15th ... yeah, maybe not. Then

Diamond Resorts insist that you can only get an extension if you already had reservations during COVID19 shut down or attempted to make a reservation during the shut down which makes no sense they especially since we could not book a vacation until they had received 6 months of payments and we purchased the 2 year deal in August of 2019. We paid 3 thousand dollars and now we are being asked to pay for the extension. This is nonsense. Buyers beware this is the worst experience we have ever had.
