Diamond Lure Campground & RV Resort

This campground is on of my favorites in Georgia. The hosts are awesome and the location is perfect. Close to all the orchards and a 15 minute drive to “stuff”. The lake front campsites are worth the added charge. Great for the whole family. Great WiFi and amenities too!

Such a great campground with amazing staff. Did some tent camping for 2 nights and our site was clean, spacious, and easy walk to the bathroom and trash bins. Quiet at night and beautiful scenery. Will definitely be back if in the area.

This is a wonderful campsite! We tent camped here for a weekend and it was a great experience. Very nice and reasonable staff. It felt genuinely safe and secluded. The bathrooms were maintained daily and the water actually got hot. They had fishing, activities to play, and a playground. My 3 year old had a wonderful time. Be sure to check out Burt’s Pumpkin Patch, Hillcrest Orchard, and BJ Reece orchard. A bit of a drive away there are chain stores like Walmart and fast food restaurants. I have zero complaints! I will say if you want more “privacy” this campground (at least where we were) seems to definitely be more geared toward families. Each tent sight is ‘close’ to each other. Have driven by this campground many times on the way to visit others. What a mistake that was. Owners and staff are super friendly and responsive to the needs of the guests. Loved hearing the kids playing and laughing on the playground late into the evening. Fog off the lake early in the morning was beautiful and the proximity to the apple orchards made a Saturday visit a 5 minute drive versus a 2 hour drive.

Front off lady is RUDE!!! They do not like Mexicans or kids. I have had several remarks made about my family being Mexican. Not allowed to make noise after 8 pm. No drinking no noise. No use of the pavilion unless you are white. They are white old country people that don’t like you unless you are white. Be prepared to step in dog poop because they don’t make people clean it up. One rv has a whole porch and outhouse. Just trashy. They don’t like kids with disabilities. They don’t like quest to stay over 1 week. Bath house was disgusting. Constant rising side by sides at all hours of the night. But guest can’t be standing outside their own rv past 8 pm.
