Deluxe Inn

I stayed here for 3 nights. I was kinda skeptical because of the reviews but it seems like there is new management and they have really outdone themselves. For 50$ I got a huge room with double bed and they came with a couch and a really nice bathroom for me and my kids. I never really write reviews but I feel this motel is a hidden gem.

I checked in late was tired, First issue was no rod in closet to hang my clothes, bathroom sink area was not clean. Room had a moldy smell. Tried to work online internet would not stay on long enough to get anything done. Next morning no hot water. Ended up taking a cool shower. Paid for 2 night decided to check out and it is 7 a.m. and they would not refund me for the 2nd day, even though it was 4 hours before checkout. Seriously! I argued with them, wanted to beat his ass, no refunds, with an attitude like he didnt give a rats ass. Did not apologize for anything. DO NOT GO HERE<

So me and my lil family is down on our luck and thought to choose the cheapest hotel to stay in until our luck changed. Room service wasn’t needed because we cleaned up our own room for three days. We did get towels, but they where dingy and old. Shower was hard to turn on. The young owner the Indian girl refused to change our rooms over to a single bed because our kids messed up the floors in which we swept ourselves. She refused to take our money for the next day. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family. The manager and the other staff where very nice, but her young behind need to learn people skills. I will never rent from this place again. Stained box springs, ruined furniture with cigarette burns everywhere!

The night clerk was kind enough to let me see the room first. I did not feel safe there so I didn't book the room. Between the loose door chain, roaches, mold, smoke odor and urine odor I could not stay. One of the adjacent rooms had an issue involving the police while I was checking the place out. I should have known that if it was empty and hurricane survivors were being booked everywhere but here, it would be bad. The whole town was sold out besides a few room in roach motels.
