Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mackinaw City-Bridgeview Lodge

It's a little hard to tell from descriptions but note this is a motel and not a hotel. That was a bit of a turn off for us. Staff were kind enough. Breakfast was average. Rooms are pretty outdated. Lots of spots on the walls/ceilings/floor that look like mold or like it just needs a deep clean. Sheets were clean but overall the place felt a little dingy. I suppose you get what you pay for, but I was expecting more. Quiet area for this time of year which was nice

Kudos to Kim for her gracious and courteous service at breakfast! She was awesome. Also thank you for the evening help with connecting the TV.

Rooms were clean and partially updated. And even though our room was above the pool and faced the freeway, it was overall very quiet. The steps were a killer after walking and riding bikes all day, but if your room was on the elevator side it'd be no bother. The breakfast in the morning was pretty impressive (biscuits and gravy, waffles, scrambled eggs rounds, cereal, muffins, juice, and etc.) And the staff was very nice. Wish they had a hot tub to soak your bones after a long fun day though. Conveniently located on/off the freeway, and into town. Audies restaurant is within walking distance and was also VERY good. I'd definitely stay again!

Rooms are dank & old with stained bedding. No screens in windows, letting bugs in while airing the musty room out. Pool was good. Chairs & tables around pool are old & dirty. Website said it has a hot tub, there is not. Breakfast was good. However, the hotel is full, not one parking space left & it’s Saturday morning. The woman working breakfast & desk was alone, very friendly, apologetic & unable to keep up. Why?!?? Management needs to do better by her & the overall upkeep of this hotel. For the price, guests ought to be given better. Never stay here again.
