Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston North/Aldine

Stayed here for a day because we had family to visit at one of the hospitals in downtown. Originally had booked for 3 days and we left after the first night to a different hotel. It says they have gated parking but the gates are broken and don’t work at all. The whole parking lot was fenced but was useless since there was several spots where the boards were just broken and the parking lot was filled with broken down junk cars. We checked in and the lady at the front was nice I’ll say that but the hotel looks completely rundown and unkept. All the couches they had downstairs were stained and had a smell, the elevators were dirty and had graffiti written all over which was barely wiped off. The AC didn't work after the first night, the room they moved me to also didn't have an AC that didn't work. Dirty hotel, trash everywhere, the parking lot was an actual tow lot where junked cars were being stored. There was a German shepherd on the premises that would follow you from your car. I got moved through 3 separate rooms and somehow each was filthier than the next, the couches had gratuitous stains. I'd like to stress that I am not a picky person and not very particular about cleanliness but this hotel was abysmal and unsafe. The rear doors didn't even lock. When the vending machines have hand written signs that say "cash emptied daily" you know it's not the best place for your family.

Sofa looks like it was dragged from a dumpster the seat pillow was so dirty but the bed was comfy and clean covers. Bathroom walls was dirty so was mini coffee pot I killed two roaches. AC works very well left super early to get on road I don't see purpose of access gate if the parking lot wood fences are hanging and some no most of the boards are down. Next to nice spanish restaurant you can just walk across to it since wood fences are down 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had a great stay at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston North/Aldine! The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making check-in quick and easy. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety, and the hotel's location was convenient, close to the airport and major highways. Despite being in a busy area, it was quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, excellent value for the price, and I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Houston!
