Days Inn by Wyndham Waukegan

Room was pleasant and nicely updated. Location was great with dining options near the hotel. Conveniently located next to McDonald's with Starbucks, Chipotle and Walgreens, just across the main road. I would stay here again, but I would choose a room away from the street/mcdonalds side(hence 4 stars).Traffic noise can easily be heard throughout the night, especially in the morning. I'm a morning person so I'm okay waking up early. Overall, I would suggest staying here. Hotel and staff were great!

Complete renovation by the Days Inn. ||Sam did an excellent job checking us in at the Days Inn, and Emma at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Another gentleman on staff—whose name I unfortunately can’t remember—also went above and beyond by helping change our room to the first floor to better accommodate my mom, who is disabled. That level of care and consideration truly meant a lot to our family.||||The entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. On top of that, the hotel provided shuttle service to pick up tickets as well as transportation to and from the graduation, which made everything incredibly convenient and stress-free.||||I highly recommend the Days Inn to anyone coming into town for a graduation. You will be extremely satisfied with the service,

You get what you pay for! The staff here were very helpful and doing their best. The Hotel is old and need some work. So it is not like staying at the Hampton Inn or Even the Holiday Inn. This is a little run down but the room is clean and safe. So you can feel safe staying in the room and sleeping in the bed. Don't expect a Hampton Inn breakfast. It is very low budget breakfast. But if you are looking for a clean room at the cheapest price possible this is a safe bet.

The curtains are not wide enough for the window. There was a street light outside that shined through the opening between the curtain and the wall. The light bounced off the mirror and straight onto the middle of the bed. We asked about the issue and were told to hang towels on the edges of the window. Housekeeping took the towels. I got some painters tape and taped the curtain to the wall. The toilet seat was loose on the toilet. I was surprised that housekeeping did not notice when cleaning the toilet. That did get fixed after I told them about it. The thermostat says it is 65 degrees in the room. It is much hotter than that. Wound turning on the air conditioning for the night. The remodel is wonderful, rooms are clean, bathroom was immaculate and PLENTY of towels. Fridge, microwave, hair dryer and iron/board, hvac worked great, no odors, overall great for the price. Our company pays for the rooms when we are in town, we have a trucking company 2 miles away and this place is a great change from being in a truck. Management is great, young lady at desk is wonderful, and I enjoy staying here.
