Days Inn by Wyndham Washington Pennslvania

I wanted to leave a review because I hate seeing the one & two star and comments about dirty rooms etc. The hotel is located in Washington it’s not a posh area and it’s a cheap priced room rate. It’s honestly worth exactly what’s charged. The desk is always so nice and kind staff. Love the rooms having a balcony you can actually access. One of the few places left you can smoke in freely and not need to worry about some $250+ fee. Yes the bathroom needs updating and I don’t walk barefoot (but that’s any hotel honestly) beds are comfortable and air/heat works great. Microwave & fridge and good size TV w/ a lot of channels. We decided to stop and get a room for a few hours after a long drive from KS. We got there at 4am. On our way up to our room we found a bloody tissue laying on the steps. It was still there when we left. The whole place smelled of marijuana and cigarettes even the non smoking rooms. The heat didn't work in the room, we were freezing. There was several holes in the walls in the room. Couldn't get tv to work. Figured it out 2 hours later. And the movie we were watching kept going back to the beginning every 15 mins. Weird! The slider door on balcony didn't lock, and hair dryer was broken. It was not a good experience, but at $70 I guess u get what u pay for.

Terrible facility! Dirty, rundown, and did not provide basic services such as towels, wash cloths, cups, coffee for Keurig machine.||Smell of smoke permeated the building and seeped through the door of the non-smoking room.||Sheets appeared stained and gray, light bulb by bed didnt' work, and HVAC unit looked like it was from the 1960's. Was afraid to even turn it on.||Since I checked in very late and checked out very early, I ddin't deal with reporting the problems or trying to get a new room. Should never have had to deal with such despicable conditions!

I rated it a 2 only because the young girl was so helpful. I reserved a room, handicapped. Wasn't told it was a smokers room, figured the handicapped room would be cleaned. It was awful! If the staff would at least take a little pride in cleaning it might of been ok. Nothing about the room would be beneficial for someone that is handicapped, except for the one grab bar in the uncleaned shower. Called the office and the young lady said she would help me to another room, THANK YOU! But I was blown away by how unclean the room was. Can't you take any pride in just wiping things down? Putting clean bedding on? The bedding had cigarette burns through the blanket and sheets which told me you don't even change the sheets!
