Days Inn by Wyndham Virginia Beach At The Beach

The room was run-down, dingy and awful. Our autistic son refused to stay there and so we had to leave to move someplace much better. The hotel/trip.com refused to refund any money. Just offered us another room which would have been just as bad. They stole over $1000 of my money. Do not use trip.com. They are crooks. Don't go to that hotel either.

My stay at this hotel went pretty well. My room was spacious and clean. I had two queen beds, which was nice. The breakfast was alright. I would have liked a variety of yogurt and fruit. I also think the eatery should remain open so I could have somewhere to eat outside of their room. I liked that I had a balcony with a partial view of the ocean, which was perfect for me. Overall, my stay was a good one. I would stay here again.

This hotel was a perfect getaway for me and my family. If you’re looking for something comfortable and affordable this place is for you. We had no issues! My son enjoyed the pool and our partial view of the ocean. Parking was great and staff were lovely. I would definitely book again.

The only good thing I can say is the room was clean, run down and in desperate need of upgrades but clean. The room was the only thing that was clean. We stayed at the first of our vacation and my wife slipped and fell on the dirty slippery stairs and twisted her ankle, the rest of our vacation was ruined, we couldn’t do half the things we had planned. It needs to be torn down and a new building built in its place.

Hotel is adequate. If that's all you want, great. Beds were comfortable, but the carpet left our socks filthy, the place was run down, the elevators broke down twice, they failed to provide fresh towels after we requested it, placed smelled of marijuana and the only response was "sometimes people smoke on the balcony", with a grin. There's a reason it received low rating and was so inexpensive. On the plus side, it is close to the beach, restaurants, and shops.
