Days Inn by Wyndham Shelby

First room we went into 118 on backside of hotel smelled like rotten food, mold and smoke, even though it said smoke free. Outlets didn't work, we immediately asked for another room which they did. Second room 119 on the front side of the hotel had dirty sheets, chairs, hole in bathroom door and did not latch, commode dirty and had to hold the handle to flush, mold on ceiling, shower didn't work, holes in flooring. We noticed all of this in the first few minutes of being in the room. The quick final straw was seeing a centipede crawling across the bed. The staff seemed very nice, but hotel needs a lot of work. We immediately went to the Fairfield right around the corner, which was very accommodating.

Middle of the night stop, staff was friendly and checking in was easy. It was cheaper by $40 compared to the other ones I called. Clean rooms, breakfast was offered but I didn't make it because I overslept. Definitely check it out for clean rooms, upfront prices and smooth check in and out.

Very nasty rooms. Roaches crawling all over the walls in my room. I do not recommend staying here. You may catch some disease. And my tv does not work.

Positive: Stafff had amazing customer service. They had semi tractor and trailer parking i Enough room for two trucks Plus, they had a wedding reception going on there was room for everyone. Negative: The pool was closed

The environment was laid back quiet no disturbances,room could've been cleaner comforter and sheets were not clean ,management was courteous.
