Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Alamo/Riverwalk

I wish I’d known I was signing up for surprise parking fees and unexpected guests. Not only was there a charge I didn’t expect, but sharing my room with cockroaches was not part of the vacation plan. Definitely not staying again. To top it off, the manager showed zero interest in making it right. No refund of the room, no apology from the manager or staff. Just a bill and some cockroach roommates. Definitely a stay I won’t repeat. Enjoy Wyndham and City of San Antonio reaching out :) Peace out San Antonio! I ain’t ever coming back! Riverwalk ✅ Alamo ✅

⭐ 1 STAR REVIEW ⭐|WARNING: Dishonest Staff & Credit Card Theft||I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. After checking out, I realized I had accidentally left my credit card in the room. Instead of turning it in like any honest employee would, someone from the cleaning staff found my card and used it to make a TikTok purchase.||This is a serious breach of trust and completely unacceptable. I trusted this hotel with my personal property and safety, and now I’m dealing with a fraudulent charge because of their staff’s actions.||I have already reported the unauthorized transaction to my bank, and I expect the hotel to take responsibility, investigate the staff involved, and implement better security and accountability. Guests should feel safe—not worried that their information

Positive: Close to the Riverwalk Negative: My door did not have a bar lock. It only had the bar, but no swivel to secure the door. My door key also unkeyed every day so I had to walk across the street to the office each day to have it rekeyed. Did not feel safe. Staff was always nice though.

This was our second time staying here. Two years ago it seemed nice, we didn't have any issues. This year was terrible! The service was nice so this is in no way a review of the people working. The room was horrible. The room had a funky odor, like maybe someone did smoke in it. The floor boards were coming up, and even one long piece came up totally when I walked over it. The towels were dingy and barely dried anything. But the worst part was that there was a poop stain left on the outside of the toilet bowl... And, what I believe, poop stains on the walls. The workers were quick to clean it up when we pointed it out, but that's so disgusting. I don't think I'll be staying here again, despite it's great location to the convention center.

We booked the King room for 2 nights based on the location’s proximity to River cruise. Our reservation said checkin time as 2 pm but when we reached we were told its actually 3 pm. The room was decent in size but hospitality was pathetic. The floor was sticky and unclean. Bed made creaky noises and bathroom had bunch of hair lying around. The bath shower was so forceful that it was hard to take bath under it, with no option to change any setting. The shower had no plastic curtain, just a cloth one and so the water from shower spilled all over the very congested bathroom floor. For breakfast, there was just some bread, bagel, cream cheese, some juice and coffee. No butter and no water to drink or water bottles anywhere! Minimal options. I’d not recommend this place.
