Days Inn by Wyndham Ruther Glen Kings Dominion Area

This company said my service dogs were ok but on the 3rd day came to my room while I was at work and put my wife and service dogs out the room until I paid them a pet fee. And when I said they are service animals they said it doesn't matter. And that she had to leave the room until the pet fee was paid. So my first day at work for the new company I moved to work for. I had to sleep in my truck because they took my money and refused to refund me. So please this is not a joke, thus will be day 3 in my truck with my wife dogs and mother in law because Days inn by Wyndham franchise don't go by the rest of the rule and regulations the rest go by. And I know the rules my wife has been managing hotel and motel for the last 20 years.

Positive: "" Negative: We got there and there was roaches on the floor. My door did not close properly. My bathroom door did not close at all. TV never worked after telling them. We left one night early.

The new owners are very very kind. They will help you in anyway they can. Lobby area is currently under renovation (2/4/26) as are some of the rooms. The rooms that are done are updated and very nice. The owners are putting a lot of work into the inn to update it in every way. Even with renovations going on this is the Perfect spot for a quick stay. Note: amenities like breakfast are still suspend as renovations go on. 2/4/26 it is why the price is currently so low. Don’t mistake a low price for low quality. The new owners are working hard to update the place.

I had a great stay at Days Inn! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — everything felt fresh and tidy. The overall cleanliness of the hotel really stood out, from the lobby to the hallways. A special shoutout to the front desk staff, especially Zai, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. He made check-in super smooth and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. 👏

The bathroom was completely updated with a new vanity and shower. It was sparkling clean. For a budget hotel, the attention to detail in the renovation is impressive.
