Days Inn by Wyndham Nashville Airport

We actually decided not to stay here and drove 40 minutes to a different hotel in another town because it just did not feel like a good situation at all. First I called and booked over the phone a nonsmoking/pet friendly/king, when I arrived I was informed they had no pet friendly rooms available and were otherwise completely booked. I explained that I had called ahead and the desk attendant told me he only had a smoking/petfriendly available. He was nice and let me go up to the room to check it out before dominating because I have a 6 month old baby so I was nervous about a smoking room. To get to the room you had to go through one specific door on the other side of the building because all the stairs were roped off with caution tape. Not a single surface was clean. I had to spend 30 minutes scraping the bathroom floor so I could at least feel safe using it. There was feces on the wall behind the toilet and in the missing seat clamp. Construction residue was still on every surface. Either the person in charge of cleaning hates their job or they are too busy to get it cleaned well. I took the dirty washcloth I used to clean the bathroom floor to the hotel clerk and suggested they hire someone to clean each room and pay by the room not per hour. If it gets a good cleaning, it can be maintained easier. But it is so dirty from lack of caring and construction that it is a huge effort for the daily staff. Hire someone to clean each room to perfection.||The carpets are disgusting and scary. I did not walk with bare feet at all

I loved the staff they was so nice. We booked online and had one pet. We was forced into the smoking room. I tolerated it for one night I put my shirt over my head as a mask to sleep. I found a roach as a pet but sadly it was put to rest. Weed and cigarettes smoke was so bad I woke my friend up from his nap to book down the road in a non smoking room. I would raise the rates and make it better for customers with a non smoking hotel. They can smoke outside

Positive: The staff was very nice Negative: The rooms were dirty. The first room had no working phone, heat, microwave or fridge. The second rooms heat/ac leaked all over the floor. There were hairs on the sink and mold in the bathroom as well as many random stains.

Rooms have a weird smell, bathroom dirty omg the towels had black hair on them, the “clean” towels. Black hair on the bed by the pillowed. It was disgusting. This place needs some TLC, oh and no coffee pot either 👎👎👎👎👎. Would I recommend this hotel NO, but I do recommend some upgrades and better cleaning up. Oh and we had some trash bad on the table because we used them for dirty clothes…. They they throw them away.
