Days Inn by Wyndham Melbourne

I’m currently staying at the Days Inn by Wyndham Melbourne and I have to say the experience has been wonderful. Sherry, the kiosk receptionist, has been absolutely amazing — so polite, kind, and incredibly accommodating. Every employee I’ve encountered has been just as impressive. The service here is impeccable — everyone is well-mannered, professional, and genuinely helpful. It truly makes a difference. Highly recommend!

They have a remote kiosk with a clerk to try to check you in. This was a terrible experience for me. She did not speak English very well and tried to give me a double bed room and not the king bed room I reserved. This went on for several minutes and I could not understand her. She finally referred me to an actual person who was present at the desk. I had no issues with her and got the king bed room I had reserved. The man behind me refused to talk with the kiosk clerk after watching my struggle. Get rid of the kiosk clerks and stay with an actual person at the desk.

Positive: Some staff very friendly. Negative: Extremely dirty/unkept grounds/ People do drugs outside rooms /not safe here/things don't work in rooms/ internet is extremely spotty/ hotel workers party loudly in the rooms/

Checking in with the Nextap kiosk was incredibly easy, but Sherry made the experience truly special. She was amazing and so welcoming! It was awesome to have such a seamless, friendly start to my stay. It felt great to be treated so well right at the door.

As a true born and raised American with 16yrs in the Military, 3 deployments to 4 different Middle Eastern countries, I can not agree with this hotel's business model. I checked in through what is basically an "ATM" with a live feed to a Hindu person. I ask why the check in process was over an "ATM Machine" and the clerk would not answer why. The "Customer Service" is all done through this machine. I paid for my room, got my receipts and key card through this machine. Later on, I was trying to connect to the hotel Wifi and even brought laptop to the front desk and ... customer service was done through this "ATM" machine. And it was another Hindu person. This is not a racist issue but you can't have people thousands of miles away in a different time zone dealing with issues here. This hotel
