Days Inn by Wyndham KU Lawrence

The room was pretty run down. There were broken lamp shades, loose electrical outlets, major chipping of the tub enamel, worn down and torn furniture and thee mini fridge was heavily stained inside (I wouldn't use it). The two employees I interacted with were kind and knowledgeable about the interactions we had. The beds have a metal pedestal and if you touch it at all you've got some level of bonging going off in your room. It sounded like several people had the same situation as the noise was heard often from different directions. The breakfast was decent. There was plenty of hot water. I should have paid $30 more and went to a nicer place.

The room was okay, just the floor was very dirty walking on the floor turned my white socks black. They didn’t change the towels which was the first time I encountered that happening when I stayed at a hotel. When I arrived there was a very bad argument going on the the customers and the desk clerk. I had to  intervene to help resolve the problem. Another first! I will not be staying there again.

The rooms are disgusting! I do not recommend this place at all. Since the owner felt the need to write up a little snarky response, I will elaborate…there were bugs in my room, the floor was sticky as if I were in a restaurant, the counter around the sink had not been wiped down, and there was hair that belonged to other people in the bathroom (shower and floor). I ended up buying a blanket and new pillow for my stay and cocooned myself from the grossness in the room. I also wore my socks in the shower…that was a first for me, thanks Days Inn for allowing me that privilege! While Days Inn “saved me hundreds of dollars” I still paid nearly $500 to stay in a dump. I would highly recommend an Airbnb or Holiday Inn (I’ve stayed there, it’s amazing, it was just booked up) to anyone looking to

We arrived and the room was so smelly smell like pee I sat on the bed and under the bed. It was metal. Next thing I know a disgusting bug was crawling up under the bed. The lamp had dry blood on it, and the other lamp look like it was broken. I thought they decorated for Halloween. The service was horrible. The front desk was extremely rude and treated me like I was dirt They said I could park my U-Haul truck on the side of the hotel in the dirt area. I ended up going off Roading and almost flipped the whole car. I would stay away from this hotel.

we arrived at the Days Inn got into our room. It was so disgusting when I sat on the bed. I hit the bottom of the bed and it was metal. Next thing I know bugs were crawling out of the bottom of the bed. There was dry blood on the lamp, and the other lamp on the other side of the bed was crooked
