Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lawrence, KS

My boyfriend and I used this hotel last night and the night before, and we were very pleased with our stay. The pool is heated, but doesn't feel warm. Maybe feels like jumping into a lake. But it was bearable. Being winter and there's still snow kn the ground. The staff was very friendly and catered to our every need. They lit the fire pit for us, it was incredible. It gave me a camping kind of feel to our stay which was great. They have a gym in the facility too that I would totally have used more if I was in some kind of shape. They even have an elliptical which is my favorite machine. The bed and the room were very comfortable. They have a good breakfast, and they have places in the lobby to relax and unwind. I was very happy with our stay.

i am extremely disappointed with our experience at Country Inn & Suites in Lawrence. A local pastor was assisting a woman who had just been released from the hospital during a mental health crisis. She needed temporary lodging for a few days until her housing became available. The hotel stay was fully paid in advance for three nights. After her first night, the manager contacted us and said she would not be allowed to stay the remaining nights. The pastor spoke directly with the manager, and initially it seemed they had reached an understanding. However, despite that conversation, the guest was told to leave. What is most troubling is that the hotel then charged a $99 cancellation fee. We did not cancel the reservation — the hotel refused to allow the guest to remain. It was standard ch

We were very impressed by the quality of the hotel. Rooms were spacious very clean and pleasant. Breakfast choices were excellent. The desk staff was very friendly. We asked about the location of other Country Inn and suites in Kansas. We made a point of staying at another Country Inn and Suites on our way back through Kansas . We travel to Colorado on a regular basis and Country Inn and Suites will be our frequent choice for a hotel.

Loved everything about this hotel. One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. That saying a lot! The design was so beautiful and comfortable. They even had the perfect pillows for my husband. Friendly staff, beautiful pool, which even had a device for a handicap person which I've never seen in a hotel before. Highly recommend!

We were there for 4 nights in Jan in king suite and it was a disappointing stay. Housekeeping never once touched our room..no coffee replenish, no trash removal, or towel replace..we requested service from front desk the 2nd night, and the 3rd night...the policy on bathroom mirror states room would automatically be done after 3rd night. The do not disturb was on a total of half hour our entire stay. The 1 star for service was because Alex at front desk tried to help...otherwise it would have to be 0. The hot water kept fluctuating during shower and curtains never quite closed to block the street light. The location was convenient for us and parking plentiful.
