Days Inn by Wyndham Faribault

Check in staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was a little smaller than normal, but as I was traveling solo it wasn't a problem. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. It took a little bit for the shower water to get hot, but the shower head was high (I'm tall and I appreciate that) and the the water pressure was good. Breakfast was good; I like the pancake-making machine.

I was seeing low stars and wasn’t expecting much. It was wonderful! The floors were clean and the surfaces nice and clean. My Nephew and his family came to go swimming and we enjoyed the pool and watching them have a great time. The staff was so amazing! They were accommodating and helpful. We had needs from normal to handicapped and we were so happy with accommodations. I even noticed that the hot tub and the pool had handicap access equipment as well. That’s such a huge plus. It’s very secure. After all the guest have checked in, the front door restricts entry from outside. It’s key card entry or call (with number provided) so people needing to sleep for the night have access to checking in. They’re very accommodating. Someone always available 24 hrs. I’m definitely staying here again. I

Positive: Not much. Maybe location from Minneapolis. Negative: Did not like being out in a handicap room, when there were plenty others! The shower was awful. The bed was not comfortable!

Terrible experience. I had to change rooms four times because of unacceptable cleanliness issues. In the first room, I found five cigarette butts behind the bed. It was disgusting, but what shocked me even more was the receptionist’s reaction. Instead of showing concern, she tried to justify it and even suggested it was somehow my fault. Then she told me that maybe someone had entered my room while I was out — that made me feel unsafe and extremely uncomfortable. Only after realizing her mistake did she finally offer to change my room. In the second room, there was an earplug behind the bed. In the third, I found food left on the bed. Only in the fourth room did I finally feel I could stay. On top of this, during my entire 4-day stay, no one changed my towels or made my bed, and no on

No heat in our room (on a subzero day). Was working on turning it on and getting the room heated up when we lost power to our room. Eventually was moved to a new room. We had no hot water- absolutely freezing cold. Was only told of the water heat issue at checkout. Was told we would get refunded. Got a refund for $9! Called and got another refund for $45. Still not happy with the refund but tired of dealing with this problem.
