Curley's Paradise Motel

Not a luxury place but the staff are kind and helpful. It was clean and we felt safe being there. They were extremely kind and helpful when our truck wouldn't start at it -2 degrees. Good people.

Upon arrival, they had resold my room so they moved me to a double. The next day, While I was out, they switched my Room back to original room style, grabbed a couple items and took them to front desk. Desk did not inform housekeeping I was still booked for next night, they threw All of my personal items in the Trash, My toothbrush, paste, comb, new box of Kleenex, all Items in the Fridge. They threw everything out except a fan and charge cord. “Oh…. Sorry” was all I got. Nice enough place but 0 customer service.

The place has $100 views but to charge that much with the shape the rooms are in just isn’t justified. The carpet was really gross and the chair was stained, and there were bugs. I am PRAYING it wasn’t a bed bug crawling on me but I definitely didn’t sleep under the covers but slept on top of my own blanket on the bed. I love old dive hotels but even I couldn’t get past the overall nastiness. $50-$60 for a room maybe….

This place is wonderful! Beautifully placed on the lake and I was able to watch a gorgeous sunrise. Quiet and clean! They also have a really cool housekeeper!
