Cumberland Inn

This is a terrible motel. When I first arrived, it took 10 minutes before the attendant at the desk to get off the phone and check us in. And the room was unacceptable. The room smelled like someone smoke a lot of cigarettes in it, and the bedsheets had a holes like cigarettes were dropped or put out on them. The bathroom was way too small, to the point where there was a gap in the door to be able to close the door because the toilet was so close to the door. Plus, the bathtub was rusted and grimey. Let's not forget that most of the power outlets in the room didn't work. I would not recommend coming here. Worst motel ever.

My feince travels with his jub wich rewires us to stay in weekly rentals and sometimes do to convince motels. This motel was by far..out of many we have stayed at..the worst! Roaches worse than I have ever seen, Rats and or mice eating my thinks, people prostituting walking around naked in the parking lot to be able to get money from the truckers next door, and the worst thing of all out of all of that is a few times now I have witnessed someone high on God knows what in the parking lot or on the sidewalk very close very uncomfortable to my room digging in the gravel talking to themselves without any word or attention from the front desk! The place has a cleanliness rating of 7.1 out of 10 and I have no clue why. The floor was dirty and had several blood spots on it, the bathtub was NASTY, and there was a used dirty wash rag hanging over the shower curtain rod. I have pictures but don’t see a way to upload them on here.

Rooms are great and clean Nice and quiet. Staff is very helpful. Price is reasonable. The bed is fantastic. Not to soft and not too hard. Loves convenient store is right next door and it's varly close to Walmart and dollar general.

This was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in my life. Room was stale Smokey smell. There was a yellow brownish film on the ac unit and the telephone. The shower curtain had mold in it. There bathroom door wouldn’t close because the door ran into the toilet since the bathroom was so small. The shower head shot water out of the wall over the curtain onto the floor. Thank fully I had extra slides in my car because the bathtub was brownish blackish stains. The bathroom sink had spots of stuck on gunk of different colors. I found a cockroach. The older manager was so rude and unpleasant to try and talk to. Overall I would give this place a .25/5 the only reason it’s not a zero is because it was cheap.
