Crown Inn

We really loved the place and the hosts. They were extremely welcoming and super hosts. Very attentive to our requests. The desi food truck and their menu is really awesome. Lots of food options and also a very amazing stop on our way from colorado to Dallas. Amazing people and amazing food. We will definitely visit again !!!

04/25/25- This place is a dump. Smelly little office where a woman from India comes through a door yelling at me “what do you want”. The dirt parking lot was full of holes, no ice machine, room was old and gross, broken bed and they allowed dogs but still had carpet from the 80’s we kept our socks on. No locks on the door in a bad area. Just horrible all around.

I didn't stay here at this place but took my niece to apply for a job. I was in my vehicle waiting on her some lady came down from the property and was yelling saying she was yelling at her 3 different times i was right there and never heard her yelling (but who yells from across the property) and then she yelled at her to stop ring the bell. My niece asked nicely if they was hiring and the lady yelled at her "no" turned around and walked off. If they do this all the time I don't think i would like to stay there much less work there. Sorry to her if she was having a bad day but no need to talk to my niece like that.

This is the worst hotel at which we've ever stayed. When I booked it, Hotels.com had it listed as 7.4 ("very good") and it allowed pets, so we felt OK about it. When we arrived it was NOT a 7.4 hotel. We were greeted warmly but the property was terrible. I checked Hotels.com without logging into my account and it was listed as 6.4!! I never book a room below 7, no matter what. I wonder if the 7.4 only came from pet owners or some other constraint applied, but I was lied to. If I left the hotel to find something else I would still be charged for it. We had no door lock other than a chain latch, and the chain latch was only held in by one screw which was halfway pulled out of the wall. I had to repair it myself but it still wasn't ever going to be secure. Thank god for #2. There was

Gray, the owner, was so kind and accommodating. We got in very late, and he had no issues with checking us in and making sure that our room was set up. As two solo traveling girls, it was really important to us that we felt safe. The room was secure and also very comfortable. Thank you again for the great experience.
