We stayed there in January -- my wife was attending an event across the street at the Waco Convention Center. The hotel is undergoing renovation and the elevator on the south side of the building was inoperable. We had a room on the north side, first floor, so that didn't matter though. The windows have screws in them to prevent them from being opened. They have 2 EVSE units (EV "chargers") with NACS connectors in the south side parking lot, but one of them had been damaged and was not usable. I think I could have made it work, but the building maintenance guy was not willing to turn on the circuit breaker for that unit. Despite a decent location near the convention center and downtown, I would NOT recommend this property. It should have been remodeled years ago. Mildew smells in rooms, mattresses sagging, carpets smell and dirty. Vote with your dollars and stay elsewhere so the owner will invest in the property. I expect more from Marriott and clearly they have not inspected this hotel for Marriott quality.

The night manager, Tracy, is a gem and her colleague departing whose name I did not catch was also great. Very nice folks to encounter after a long trek across the state
