Courtyard by Marriott Santa Fe

My wife and I booked a room to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Santa Fe. We were looking for a Marriott Hotel that was close to many attractions and restaurants. This Hotel fit that requirement. The hotel had an open concept with access to rooms almost feeling more private than a typical long hallway entrance(s). Rooms were very large, comfortable, and quite. All amenities were present. Front Desk Hosts and Check-In process was smooth and friendly. Very inviting!! During our stay we did experience a cleanliness issue, which we addressed with the Operations & General Manager. It was promptly addressed and responded to, and to a very high level of satisfaction. Had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Marriott. The room was clean, the service was fantastic, and the entire experience was very comfortable. I want to give a special shoutout to Armando, who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. He was working late and still delivered outstanding customer service. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Santa Fe!

We made a reservation and canceled within the prescribed time frame (which is in the fine print). When we called to dispute the cancellation charge, the manager was unbelievably rude and arrogant and refused to refund us and still charged us $126 as a cancellation fee. Outrageous! What a SCAM! This is a franchise and the Corporate office could not help us any way. DO NOT book here they will rip you off! There's a reason for the 3 star rating. We've been Marriott Bon Voy members for decades and have never had a problem until 2/12/26.

I previously stayed at this property and experienced a bed bug issue in my room. I decided to return after seeing that the hotel had replaced its furniture, believing the issue had been addressed and wanting to give the property another opportunity.||Today, I contacted the front desk for assistance with internet access because the access code provided was not working. I was unable to log in using my room number and last name, as the system repeatedly returned an error. I spoke with Andrew, the General Manager, to explain the issue. Before I could fully describe the problem, I was cut off and told, “You have too many issues. I want you out of my establishment now. Positive: The courtesy of the staff and food court attendant was very pleasant. My room opened out into the courtyard which was very lovely but I also had alot of foot traffic noise as people walked by the room. Negative: There was no trash bags in the trash can in the room which seemed unsanitary and no bath mat to use in the bathroom, with very little hot water.Depending on where your room is located you may get drive by traffic.
