Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio Lackland

We unfortunately did not have a good stay at this hotel. We were supposed to be staying for four nights back in December but only ended up staying for one night as we all ended up having extremely bad allergy issues. The air in the room was stale and there was a mildew type smell. The walls in the bathroom were not clean and there was what appeared to be mold on the ceiling. We had to check out the next morning as one of my family members has bad asthma and something in that hotel triggered it. We let the front desk know that we wanted to check out and that we wanted a refund for the three other nights that we were not staying there anymore but they would not give us that refund. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made checking in a smooth and pleasant experience. They took the time to answer my questions and made me feel valued as a guest. I also really appreciated the secure fencing around the property. It gave me peace of mind knowing my car was safe throughout my stay. The combination of friendly service and added security made a big difference. It’s clear they care about both comfort and safety, which I found reassuring. Overall, I left with a very positive impression and would gladly recommend this place to others.

Positive: Close to my final destination. By the busy and loud 410 loop in San Antonio but no hi-way noise was evident in the room. Room was nice, clean, quiet and roomy. Negative: ""

I'm a truck driver and i'd come in late on the last of my drive time. As i used my typical company accredations, I realized my identification wasn't in its usual spot,which happens when I'm regularly paying for fuel and purchases on the road. My solution to this is to have a picture on my phone to account for an instance where it may be missing, but for some reason this wasn't good enough for the dyed-and-inked attendant that evening. I hope you lose your punk-poser identification, Ms. "Just Following Orders." Although,to be fair, the two other hotels in walking distance didn't accept the missing identification as well. Friendly and attentive front desk staff. Easy Location; Clean Room, not so comfy bed. Major downgrade for advertising having a "Bistro bar/coffee shop/kitchen" but employees without the training to their serve *pricey* items well
