Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio Airport

Hands down the absolute WORST hotel in San Antonio. I’ve stayed in well over 2 dozen hotels in and around the area and this one was by far the worst. A reservation for 2 bed room was made weeks in advance and upon arrival I’m told very aggressively that the room we reserved was no longer available since it was given to someone else. (Turns out this happened to half the families that traveled with us for this tournament). When my wife asked a question the lady behind the desk snapped. Extremely rude and even offered to “give you [us] more attitude if you [we] want it”. With it being late and there being such limited to no available rooms nearby, we decide to just let that go for the night. We then get to our room… Bathroom door doesn’t shut, standing water and stains in the tub, a musty mil

The staff are friendly and helpful. They are absolutely some of the best people to work with. The rooms are a different story. The room I requested to be ADA accessible isn't. They placed handle bars and nothing else. A tub with no seat. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are paper thin yet cardboard at the same time. But they are clean and it is surprisingly quiet. It is a good location. Everything I needed wasn't far. And they have a good kitchen.

Positive: The a/c had a constant on setting Negative: The hotel was not a bit soundproofed, considering how close it was to the airport. You could easily hear airplanes taking off

A terrible dated Courtyard. Noisy old style AC. Fridge was noisy. Bad was soft and saggy. ||Needs a major refresh. Not up to Courtyard standards.

I travel a lot and have stayed in enough hotels to know the difference between a good one and a bad one. And this one was bad all around. Front desk people are extremely rude and did help much! They I er charged us once we got there. There was bed bugs on the pull out sofas. And the only suggestion is to check out. I would not stay here ever again. This was a very disappointing trip for me because of this hotel and the staff working here.
