Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard

My husband and I stay in hotels frequently, and this was truly one of the cleanest, most peaceful, and pleasant properties we have ever experienced. From start to finish, our stay was exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, and every interaction stood out — from the professionalism and warmth of the front desk team, to the bistro staff, to the attention to detail from housekeeping. Everything was consistently well-done and exceeded our expectations. We travel often, and this location sets a very high standard. Easily a 10 out of 5. Excellent job, Marriott.

What a fantastic experience! We stayed here for a concert at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, and we will definitely be back. The walk was about 10-15 mins. Yes, you walk under the bridge but the path is fairly well marked and because of the concert, there were police officers and cruisers along the way making sure everyone was safe. Plus, it felt the entire hotel was walking to and from the concert together. ||Our room (King with a sleeper sofa) was very comfortable! Our teens thought the sleeper was actually extremely comfy compared to other hotels. The cafe on site had wonderful food and drinks. For breakfast, we had avocado toast, fruit, eggs and for dinner (pre concert) we had sandwiches, flatbread, etc. It was definitely delicious and easy! So the reason for my low rating... I stayed here about a month ago for a Flyers game. The experience was fine, we had ample off street parking and the room was okay. I was surprised we didn't have a smart TV like others have said. We somehow had an ADA accessible room, so our bathroom was ... Odd. But the reason for my low rating is that a few weeks after my stay, I had a $50 charge from them pop up on the credit card I had used for the room. That pending charge "disappeared" (I get notifications for all charges on that card) and then a few days later a bunch of charges started showing up for things that weren't mine, like stores in the Philly area, IKEA, AARP (I'm not retirement age), etc. So I'm not sure if someone had a skimmer on the card scanner there, or if they were hacked, or what,

Positive: The location to Concert and Sports Venues are amazing Negative: It’s not anything special for the price- the rooms are small, the bed was not comfortable, and the person before us set their alarm that woke us up at 6am. Bistro staff are not friendly.
