Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown

Modern hotel in city centre, service to improve. Room is nice, very clean angvalmist new. Staff could be better.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Dec 2025. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were recently renovated and they did a real nice job with that. We were fortunate enough to get a room with a view of city hall with a big Christmas tree out front and our photos from our room window were iconic.||Here are the things that we really liked (Pros)||Arch street is quieter than market or broad. There is still little bit of street noise but considerably less. We slept well at night.||New renovation was done well and the units were fun to live in. Many downtown hotels have aging room conditions, so it was great to have an option at a reasonable price point that a newer interior refresh.||Staff was accommodating. Catherine and Christopher were extremely helpful at the front desk. Very grateful for them and their hospitality! Thank you sooo much you guys, you made the trip extra for us and we are very grateful! Just an overall amazing experience there. Allowing us a late checkout with no issues, leaving our bags after we checked out to go meander the city for a couple of hours was super helpful. The valet parking was amazing. Called the hotel directly to book a room and prepay for a friend and authorize my credit card for the incidentals to ensure they had a smooth check in. I was provided a secure e-signature document directly from the hotel that I completed and was accepted… BUT, When my friend arrived, no record of the form was visible. A replacement form was sent to me which I completed but they could not see the CC authorization and, after an hour of trying to fix this issue, Natasha at the front desk denied my friend the room and left them stranded in the city at 9pm. The next morning, the hotel charged my card in full for the title day reservation. Stay classy Marriott Philly.
