I was surprised how modern and updated this hotel was for the price we paid. It has an amazing reception or lobby area. It smells great upon entry. This hotel has onsite parking. The room was clean, updated, spacious, and the shower was the best park. The steady hot water, and powerful stream relaxed me for the night. Getting into the bed felt like I was wrapped in a cloud pillow. The sheets felt soft and not itchy. Simply a great experience! I wish we kept the booking for this place longer over the flashy (but deceiving) pictures we saw of Sonesta that caused us to book 2 different hotels. The two cannot compare! Great job Courtyard!
It was overall a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and painless. The food in the bistro was also a pleasant surprise, not too expensive and good quality. I tried the quesidillas and waffles and strawberries. Only complaint is the shower was not draining as well as it should have. Would stay again
Positive: LEAVING IT!STAFF EXCEPT ONE PERSON...HORRIBLE! Negative: Staff/my tub was horrible!I asked for it to be cleaned. Was told I could take a bath in another room!MISSed VERY IMPORTANT DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT!I HAVE TO GO BACK UP TO PHILLY BEC OF THIS HOTEL!I AM STILL WAITING FOR A PHONE CALL FROM JAN. 1, 2025!
The hotel is clean and well maintained. The security is top notch. Front desk staff was welcoming and polite.|A few suggestions. Our room had two beds, there was one that was SO noisy, it was funny until trying to sleep. The nightstand had a drawer that wouldn’t stay shut, as well as not all plug outlets in working condition. The computer chair was very worn and tattered, and finally, the conditioner and body wash were empty.|Overall, not a bad stay at all, every place has a quirk or two. I will stay again (in a different room of course).
Floyd made check in quick and easy. The need for a room key to use the elevator is a nice safety measure. The room was fine with a nice view from the 5th floor. Unfortunately, that's where the Marriott standards end. Cleanliness was really lacking at this location. I wanted to dismiss the filthy elevator rug and soaked welcome mat in the back of the hotel to the winter weather. Then there's the actual room. Upon doing my wipe down I noticed what looked like a dirt stain on the toilet seat. Dirty water stained the outside of the bathtub, which was also very stopped up and not draining water properly. There were also no wash cloths in the room. There was also something sticky on our rug. God only knows what else was unclean that we didn't notice. I called down to make Floyd aware of
