Courtyard by Marriott North Charleston Airport/Coliseum

Stayed for one night and had a great experience from start to finish. Caleb greeted us immediately with a warm and friendly welcome, which made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the amenities were impressive. We really loved the hotel’s new look. The location is excellent. We had dinner in downtown Charleston and the drive back was quick and easy. It is also very convenient if you are flying in or out of the airport. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Positive: Room was decent. Negative: The hotel is being renovated and it needs it. The bathroom had water leaking through the wall onto the floor. The pool was unusable and unsightly, filled with algae. The "restaurant" was a small lobby bar where they charged $5 for coffee.

My best friend & I decided to take an impromptu trip to Charleston for the weekend. The hotel was quite nice with very friendly staff members. The beds were soft with plenty of comfortable pillows. The window in the room was huge & I was nervous that the morning sun would be super bright but luckily the blackout curtains were amazing & didn't allow one ounce of light in. There was an accent wall that had beautiful maroon wallpaper which really made a statement. The shower was nice & hot, with great water pressure. My only "needs improvement" comment- the microwave needs a good cleaning. I almost didn't put my food in there. Other than that I was very happy with my stay.

I have stayed here a few times. Came after the remodel - it looks good in the room and much cleaner. The downside - no more shampoo/conditioner/body body wash in the shower. Not even in the request - ran out and got some from Walmart but in all my Marriott stays that is a first.

This hotel has a great location and that’s it. This was a horrible stay but that’s pretty on brand for Courtyard. I used points last minute and regret it. The ice machine was broken and I was put in a handicap accessible room. I will never return to this property
