Courtyard by Marriott Norman

Beds comfortable but the sheets were rough. Clean but nothing special. Elevator was very slow. Took the stairs most of the time. Only three floors so not a huge deal. Staff was sparse. No free breakfast and no upgrades for premium status members. No dedicated parking for premium status members. Not your typical Marriott location. Definitely lessor than most large city Marriotts.

Positive: I would say the staff for sure. The hotel is nice, but the staff make it a pleasant stay. Negative: I do wish the beds were a little more comfortable. And some of the rooms could use a little bit of attention. I love how I can go and have my custom coffee made in the morning.

Located conveniently near the OU campus. The inside of the hotel is a little nicer than the outside. Room rate wasn’t terrible for one night but the bed was not comfortable and they are severely overcharging for beverages/food onsite.

Place was clean and staff was nice. The rooms were dated, beds were very very hard and old. Room had that musty hotel smell and the hot water was lukewarm at best. Definitely pass and will not be staying here again for the price.

We were in Norman for an Oklahoma Football game. We had an issue with our first hotel so last minute found the Courtyard Marriott. I would not recommend getting a last minute hotel on a football weekend as it was pricey. But it was a great location for a game and was a nice hotel. There are restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were very friendly. We also had a medical emergency and the staff was helpful and genuinely concerned for our well being.
