We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans during our girls’ trip! The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do, making it easy to explore the city without a lot of hassle. The true highlight of our stay was A’Jaya. She was an absolute gem and made our trip even more enjoyable. She took the time to give us detailed local directions, explained the streetcar routes to all the places on our list, and offered fantastic restaurant recommendations. Her knowledge, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm were phenomenal and made us feel so welcome. Customer service like hers is rare, and it truly elevated our entire experience. If you stay here, be sure to connect with A’Jaya — she is the jewel of this hotel! We would absolutely stay here again and highl

Stayed here 4 nights at the end of Oct. Great location. Easy walk to almost everything you want to do. Trolly stop fight in front of hotel. Staff were pleasant. Room was clean. ||My first gripe is that the shower gel, shampoo/conditioner were attached to the wall at least 6ft. high or more. I am 5'3" so it was a challenge for me to reach on a slippery shower floor. Second gripe is that the trash can provided is very tiny. If they are only going to clean the room once while I am there, they need a larger one!! Third, the pillows were worn out, no support what so ever. Mattress was good, just need better pillows.

We enjoyed our stay! The room was spacious with a great view. Our room had a miniature fridge and the TV allowed you to connect to netflix which we really enjoyed. I would also like to add that this hotel smelled so clean, it was a refreshing break from all the smells in the city streets of the French Quarter! The lobby has a little store in it and a bar that serves Starbucks. I highly recommend taking advantage of the valet parking as well. They were great and we did not have to worry about our vehicle during our stay.

I spent over 200 nights in hotels last year, and did not feel as welcome anywhere else as I did here! Lindsay at the front desk was an amazing host, and made me feel like I was staying with family. Aijaya was incredibly helpful in managing all the navigation in a city that I was not used to being in. Charmaine checked in on each room as if we were her only guests, and took care of every request. We are for sure going to come back here as our first choice on the next trip there!

Everything changes—and not always for the better. Sadly, my longtime go-to spot in New Orleans has started to slip. I reserved well in advance and even called to double-check that I’d be getting a room with a roll-in shower. On arrival, things initially looked promising: a big automatic entrance door and a wheelchair ramp. But that’s where the problems began. At the top of the ramp, carts and stands were blocking the path, making it difficult to maneuver independently. I was placed in Room 111—the same room I stayed in six months ago. Unfortunately, the light and wall outlets on the right side of the bed didn’t work. That’s not a small issue when it’s the only place in the room where I can charge my wheelchair. Maintenance came, attempted a fix, and said they’d return. They never did. Five
