Courtyard by Marriott Miami Coral Gables

Relaxing and comfortable stay. We needed a place to stay for our cruise with last minute changes to our flight. It was nice getting a room with 15 minutes notice! Price online and as $50 cheaper than what we were charged for-did not appreciate that. The front desk was friendly. Bistro is nice, very pricey. Good location, a short walk brought us to an area with great food and environment. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Newly renovated and still has a small paint smell, but love how clean and safe it feels! Great job and a great stay.

This hotel is exceptionally clean and fresh smelling. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The food at the bistro is exceptional. The beds and linens are great quality and the pillow are so soft. The rooftop pool gets perfect sun during the day. This location is walking distance to the shops and restaurants on Miracle Mile. Great location.

Check-in was basically instant smooth, efficient, and handled by staff who were genuinely kind without losing their professionalism. The room was spotless and impressively quiet, breakfast was fresh and satisfying, and the peaceful street outside meant we slept straight through. For the price, the comfort and service feel like a real steal, and I’d happily book here again.

Worst Marriott stay I’ve ever had. I stay exclusively at Marriott properties, and this was hands-down the worst experience I’ve ever had. I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Coral Gables from 2/13–2/15 for a wedding, and nearly everything that could go wrong did. The most unacceptable issue: a housekeeper walked into our room at 10:30 AM while we were still sleeping. This is a serious privacy and safety violation. Normal checkout is at noon, and we also had an approved late checkout until 2:00 PM. There is absolutely no excuse for staff entering an occupied room at that time. It was jarring, uncomfortable, and completely unacceptable. Staff was very nice, food wasn’t great but it’s understandable. Breakfast prices were too high though. We can all agree that $40 for two pre-made breakfast sandwiches, 2 small coffees, and an orange juice is pretty ridiculous. The tv wasn’t that big but we loved that it already had streaming services like netflix installed. Bed was perfect. A/C unit was responsive. Overnight parking price was great. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and think you guys run a pretty good operation over there. Thanks for taking care of us and apologies for the negative things but I’m trying to give a fair review with constructive criticism. We’d like to thank the staff once more for genuinely being great!
