Courtyard by Marriott Memphis Downtown

Nice place with outstanding staff. TJ the Valet was very helpful! The room was clean and updated but needed some maintenance. The hotel descriptions on the Marriott app and website need some editing for accuracy. Nice stay overall!

Positive: The staff members were friendly and accomodating. Also, great location. Negative: I was not given the courtesy of a 1 hour late check out.

Located on Main St this hotel is not in the most enticing of locations but you are about a 10min walk from Beale St. There is a trolley stop just outside the hotel which runs down Main St to Beale St, but this was taken out of operations in August 2024 due to technical issues...a real shame.||Valet parking is friendly and efficient and cars are parked in a secure pound which is shared with the adjacent Moxy hotel (not cheap though at $32 per night). ||Our corner room was fairly basic with a lot of wear and tear evident. It was quite dated and we had move to another room during our stay due to the lack of hot water. ||The hotel has a good size gym with limited free weights, and a small jacuzzi. ||We found the staff very nice and helpful, especially at breakfast which was basic but adequate.

Nice staff. Thank you for allowing us to check in early! Rooms were clean. No weird smells. Bed was comfortable. Valet is $32 and their parking is onsite. 5-10 walk to beale st. Good so you arent around all the the noise at night. 10-15 walk to the pyramid bass pro. Surroundings are typical of any downtown of big city.

It’s conveniently located near the Bass Pro Pyramid and several attractions, but the immediate area isn’t the best. Parking is only available through valet. I had booked a rate with breakfast included, though the options were quite limited. On the positive side, the front desk staff and service were friendly and helpful. Overall, a decent stay with no major complaints, but there’s room for improvement in location and amenities.
