Courtyard by Marriott Hilton Head Island

The showers here are really fancy and nice! They are walk-in style with a glass wall and the shower pressure is good. If you have mobility issues like me, be careful as the shower grab bar isn't underneath the shower head - it's on the other side by the shampoo shelf. The mattress on the pull out sofa beds are pretty decent and I like that the room included a microwave and small fridge (behind a cupboard door). The location is surrounded by a bunch of breakfast food places, and Skillets Cafe and Grill is a short drive away, which is a big plus. My only complaint is noise related, as the rooftop bar sounds really loud until 10pm when you are on the third floor. This isn't Marriott Courtyard's fault, but we stayed overnight on a Friday so the next morning we were woken up at 6:30am by a garb

Quick trip for a wedding.||Standard Courtyard. 3 stars down the middle.||Service of the staff was below average but the rooftop bar and hang out area made up for the lack of customer service.||Hotel is newer. Room and amenities were nice!||Room service is every other day.||Got the job done. Newer hotel. Nothing special. Gets the job done.

Great location but very mediocre service. We did not receive the room style that we booked and were told it was “sold to a walk-in” minutes after we checked in! Rooftop area is really nice and fun for hanging out in the sun. Room was clean but also mediocre. Shower and water pressure was some of the worst we’ve ever had. We’ve stayed at a lot of Marriotts and I’m just not sure this is worth what they are charging!

Positive: I loved the rooftop bar and pool. It?s rare that you find this type of thing in a suburban Marriott. Also.?the decor was beautiful! I heard that it is privately owned and the owner went above and beyond creating a beautiful and inviting place. Negative: I would have liked a hot tub by the pool.

They charge $10 for parking even thought the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It’s just a standard hotel. In addition the Bonvoy app offers mobile key , but this is completely pointless because you still have to go to the desk (probably so they can charge you the $10 parking fee) . Do better and don’t comment on here “Oh we’re so sorry please contact us” I’m not going to do that.
