Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Mesquite

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Marriott property. Susan at the front desk assigned me a room that had clearly not been cleaned. The sheets were filthy and the entire room had a terrible odor. When I went back to the front desk to report the issue, she initially reacted as if I was exaggerating or mistaken. I even had to ask her, “Would you like to come see the room yourself?” before she acknowledged the problem. She eventually apologized, but continued to show a dismissive attitude throughout the interaction. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled made the experience far worse. I expect much better standards of cleanliness and professionalism from Marriott.

This place is DISGUSTING. MOLD MOLD MOLD in every room. Stayed here for a work trip and couldn’t leave for another hotel or I would’ve. Absolutely disgraceful to have switch rooms TWICE and still mold in the rooms. All three rooms I went into smelled like a locker room and had mold growing somewhere. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. They should tear this place down and start over. Would give less than 1 star if I could

Great hotel. The room we were in was clean and smelled great. The front desk workers are very nice and go the extra mile to make sure stay is wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

I have to give this Hotel a 3 star because it needs to be updated. I prefer walk in showers, and the tubs here are in need of updating. Many Marriot's have upgraded the TVs and streaming this hotel has not. You can tell they have shampooed the carpets in the rooms and hallways several times, because the smell of not well dried carpet is in the air. Bed was clean, and comfortable. Desk and work area were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Dining options are very close.
