Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Allen at the Event Center

Great service. Staff was attentive to all details and ensured our stay was fabulous! Rooms are clean and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel amenities were also top notch. I highly recommend Courtyard Dallas Allen. It is a perfect choice for business travelers and families!

I was very disappointed in this hotel especially for the price. Bring your own blanket / comforter because all they give you is basically a sheet. It was horrible! Beware of Jasmine… I went to check in (it was 11:45 pm ) she claimed I didn’t have a reservation but I did because we were there for club volleyball and it was booked through our travel agents. The system was glitching early in evening (according to the other coaches that checked in). My name was on there as the head director for our club saw and verified it since I was coming in later. Jasmine was very rude as I was trying to give her any information to help. When she FINALLY found my room she wouldn’t speak to me… wrote my room number on the card and basically threw it at me. The location is great, the lobby is beautiful when you walk in. The associates at the front desk were nice, friendly, and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the veiw wasn't that bad from the balcony. For food and company the bistro was the place to go. You could not go wrong with the food, everything tasted amazing. Both Heather and Eliud made phenomenal drinks and I highly recommend the old fashioned and espresso martini, both made to perfection and taste that I would expect from a specialty bar. They would always be welcoming, friendly, and would engage in a conversation. By far they were some of the best people I've met.

Positive: We liked the location and cleanliness of the hotel. There were hand sanitizer stations by the elevators. This was great! Negative: There were no mirrors in the main part of the hotel room. The only mirrors it had were located in the restroom which made it difficult to get ready in the room if someone was using the restroom already.

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past 3 years and the staff is amazing. Always eager to help friendly and inviting. I had some minor issues in the first room I was in for my week vacation and they moved me quickly. The hotel is dated and in need of a renovation but overall completely excellent stay I’ll be back.
