Courtyard by Marriott Charleston-North Charleston

Lanette the manager for night shift was rude being that she actually stood there & looked up my address which is the old one an stated that I was a local in which I’d have to pay an extra $300. I am traveling for work. I reside an hour away had a long flight and was extremely exhausted. So I already paid for the room, and she stated that the policy said that locals have to pay that amount. I do not reside in Charleston nor North Charleston at all. So when I asked why I had to pay extra she said for locals. Which is insane. So she stated that oh you’ll have to pay the extra $100 which was not stated in anything which I asked for which wasn’t in the fine print on Marriott Bonvey’s site. So I paid the money get to the room absolutely no towels available. No shampoo, conditioner, soap. Thankfu

I travel over 300 days a year and stay in Marriotts all over the country. Charleston is where my home office is so I am there often. The location, the service, the rooms, all nothing short of great. The Assistant General Manager, Meagan, is the best! She’s engaging, polite and makes you feel like family. The entire staff makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Thank you Lynette! 🙂🙂 I have stayed at every Marriott in and around the Charleston area. This one has become my home. Great work!

Omar at the front desk went above and beyond when my snoring kept my family up late. He was super nice, understanding, and compassionate. The room was clean, smelled cleaned, and the lighting inside was perfectly placed.

Positive: Price and Cleanliness. Negative: After I checked out,received a bill from the hotel.They were charged me $ 2 For Destination Fee,and $3.87 Parking Recapture Fee.I was traveling with Van and I parked my van normally and didn’t recapture 2 parking spot.I think this the new method of scam.

Room was clean, location was ok. Check in ok.|Came back to hotel after desk person said we have a bar here and food. 8:30 the Bar shut down even though there was at least 20 people in the lobby.|So we said ok let’s play pool. Pool table was old and ripped. Pool cues were from another century. No tips, no chalk! Why have it! Loud and music playing until 2 am. Was not happy.
