Courtyard by Marriott Canton

Tired old hotel. Although we are ambassador level Marriott travelers they do not offer breakfast or even a voucher. Seems strange but woman at front desk was very emphatic. So we had breakfast up the road. Room has tub that is rusting. Ceiling tiles in hallway messed up. When get off elevator wall paper peeling back Cushions on sofa in room ripped. Will look for newer hotel next time in area. Bet when this place was built it was great now it needs a renovation. We will look for something newer built next time in area

I have stayed here numerous times and saw an improved experience that was worth me writing another review to increase their rating.||Front desk staff had new personnel that were very helpful during the check-in. Great personality and seemed to care about what they were doing. Huge improvement in that area.||Rooms were cleaner than the last two times I stayed and the linen appeared to be fresh.||Over all you can’t beat the stay for just over a $100 plus tax.

Positive: Breakfast staff nice. pool area was good. hot tub was broken. Negative: Check in and out was the rudest people I have ever encountered. Check out was the worst, said I didn't pay for the breakfast, then one of the rooms .Tuned out she didn't ring up the breakfast on the card on hold. Or didn't know how. She was really rude

Everything was good until they charged the wrong card and caused me to bounce. this is the second time they have charged the wrong card. Screwed me pretty good. I travel a lot and stay here a lot, but I definitely will not be using this hotel anymore.

Rooms was nice size but the bed was uncomfortable. We had a room that had a bedroom and a living room. The bedroom was cold and the living room was hot with thermostat is a bad location. Shower had very little water pressure and the water temperature fluctuated from hot to cold. Would not recommend this hotel.
