Courtyard by Marriott Bloomington Normal

While I appreciated the helpful staff and clean linens, I was ultimately disappointed with my recent stay at the Courtyard Bloomington-Normal due to the following issues: Fitness Center: The facility is poorly equipped and was not clean. Room Cleanliness: While the room was made up, the surfaces and walls appeared unwashed. There were also visible bodily fluid type spots and grime on the shower walls. Maintenance: there is painter’s tape and water stains on the bathroom ceiling, suggesting unfinished repair work. I cannot provide a positive review of my experience and will likely choose different accommodations for my next visit to the area.

This Courtyard by Marriott is a great choice if you’re visiting someone at ISU. The location is perfect, close to campus, convenient, and easy to get around. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and I recommend booking one with a balcony. It’s a nice touch that lets in a refreshing breeze and gives the room an open, airy feel. While the property may be slightly dated, it’s extremely well maintained and spotless throughout. The staff truly make the experience stand out they’re friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food was also very good, and the indoor pool was a pleasant surprise with comfortably warm water. Overall, this hotel is a great value for the price. Whether you’re in town for a short visit or an ISU event, you won’t be disappointed. Highly rec

My husband has a room booked there for a month for work, his room was not cleaned for 3 day's so I called the front desk and told them. Two day's later they finally cleaned it. Here it is four day's later and my husband told me nobody has been in there to clean the room, he had to to take his own trash out and put a Walmart bag in the trash can himself, again I call the front desk on 1/18/2026 at 3:00PM and talked to the girl about this and explained to her that my husband was put on the every other day room refresh and that the Do Not Disturb sign was not on the door. She got very rude with me when I ask to speak to the Manager and refused to give me her name. She said they'll be looking forward to my call tomorrow and hung up. This is absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional.

We were celebrating my child’s 4th birthday with staying for the night and going for a swim. The pool is heated saltwater, and plenty of space for the kids to enjoy themselves. A few tile are cracked, but nothing terrible at all. The room was great for us, very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and let us check in early and out late. Super accommodating. They all wished my child a happy birthday as well. Our first time here and we will not hesitate to go back.

The rooms were your standard Courtyard setup, but they’re definitely showing signs of wear and could use some updating. The price was on the lower end for the area, which helped balance things out. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent during my stay, but the staff overall were very friendly and accommodating. The location is a big plus, there are plenty of food options nearby, making it very convenient.
