Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

Positive: The location on the ISU campus was very convenient. The room size was good, the contemporary decor was nice. Negative: The room needed some maintenance upon arrival but that was addressed promptly.

I had a wonderful stay and wanted to give a special recognition to Ashanti for making the experience even better. From the moment we arrived Ashanti was welcoming, professional and genuinely attentive. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean. But what stood out the most was the amazing staff. I would absolutely love to stay here again and hope to be assisted by Ashanti on my next visit.

The hotel looked beautiful when you walk in, room was clean, and breakfast was good for 10 dollars per person. With all that said, this didnt meet my expectations for a hotel, let alone a Marriott. There was an actual fire in the laundry room and fire alarms didn't go off. We were notified after at least 30 minutes after fire trucks showed up by intercom in room. This was greatly unacceptable and could have ended differently. We were also never notified when we could return. The next morning, the power went out in the rooms, not able to call front desk and unable to check out due to not computers. I see they charged my card but never sent a final bill. I would recommend staying at a different Hotel for your safety and comfort.

This was a great hotel! It was in a good location. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The gym was also very nice. I was able to get a good workout in! ||Parking is across the street, but it was easy to access. I would definitely stay here again.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my recent stay at this hotel. The property itself is clean, modern, and very well maintained, but what truly stood out was the Engineering team. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the hotel takes pride in keeping everything in perfect working order. The Engineering department deserves special recognition every interaction I had with them was professional, friendly, and efficient. When I needed assistance with a minor issue in my room, they responded immediately and had it fixed within minutes. They not only solved the problem, but took the time to ensure everything else in the room was functioning perfectly as well.
