Customer Reviews
First let me say that I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews on this property. I am a Travel Agent so I have been to many Marriotts. I was very pleased with this property. This is not a JW Marriott by any means, however, it was clean, great location and the staff is amazing! I would send my clients with no hesitation!
BUG INFESTED! Beware they have bed bugs or worse. We stayed there for 2 nights (had a longer reservation), but after coming away with bites and welts like the images show, on the second morning, we cancelled the rest of our stay and left immediately. They were completely unapologetic and refused to take responsibility -- stay at your own risk.
Positive: The new finishes were great. It seemed up-to-date and stylish. Negative: I'm sad that they removed the pool. And while it seemed to be newly renovated, there were parts that seemed shoddy (peeling paneling in the elevator, duck tape over a sign, mattress wasn't as new as you'd expect).
Rooms are OK. Dinner is really bad: Expensive and very limited choice. Amount charged for pet (1 small cat) is way over priced. $120 extra 1 night !!! Way too much. So if you want an hotel with dinner service or if you travel with a pet: NOT TRECOMMENDED.
Good solid hotel, staff was great and helpful. We were very happy with the room cleanliness, comfort of the bed, reasonably quiet (AC didn't keep us up at night). Good Uber service in Annapolis, eateries in the vicinity of the hotel and only about 5 minutes or so from the downtown historic part of Annapolis. If I had to pick a few negatives, it would be that housekeeping didn't make the bed when we returned, only spread the blankets out over it (strange), there was no safe in the room, or any rooms because I asked, and had to put some valuables in the car when we went out. And the hot tub jets were broken at the pool. Not dealbreakers, but surprising somewhat for a Marriott. Lastly, the reservation desk on the phone does not communicate well with the actual hotel, and in my case, th
