Country RV Park

The experience here far surpassed my expectations. The staff is so kind and friendly. I especially love the cook out and community area! Since I was far from home for my birthday, they made my birthday experience special. I will definitely stay here my next trip to Carlsbad, NM.

This is a amazing place. I came in on long term project (work) and was looking to rent a camper that they have available already set up clean and turnkey ready. My 1st camper ha water leak and then the hot water heater went out. I text Gil and he immediately sent one of his associates over at 1st we discussed me staying and they would have a contractor come fix it but wasn't going to be a 1 day fix so I asked Gil if there were other options and next day after work he showed me 2 other options and I picked my favorite of the 2. All that is awesome was treated well and was happy. One of the amenities that they offer is free ice from ice machine at 1st it was always open until Gil found out people not living in the park was emptying the ice and none would be available for us that actually liv

This is definitely a hidden gem! Gil is a great host! Every day they were keeping the grounds, watering the pretty trees and making sure everything was nice. The laundry room was clean and air conditioned and very reasonable. We kept this spot on our favorites list! It’s super close to so many fun and beautiful things to do and see!! Price is great too! Thanks Gil for great memories! See ya next trip!

We stayed at this rv park for a few months while in Carlsbad for work. My issues were as follows: 1.) We had more trouble with gnats and flies while staying here 2.) We were parked at the back of the park and noticed awful septic smell more than we thought we should. Therefore we never got to sit outside. 3.) You are to place your trash in an open trailer at the front of the park. It smells awful and they don’t empty it often. May be the reason for the flies/gnats 4.) They don’t let you know ahead, that if you park under covered parking, you will be charged for your electric. We had a bill for $174 for one month! Our neighbor next to us had a MUCH smaller camper and was charged the same amount, which didn’t make any sense. $974 total for the month. 5.) We had a death in the family middle o

This was a one night stay to see Carlsbad Cavern. It’s a 30 minute drive to the park.The owner, Gil was very friendly and accommodating, He is a retired Veteran. The park is easy off/on highway 62. It’s quiet, neat and no frills. Available is a small dog park, washer& dyers and full hookups. I recommend giving Monarchy Country RV Park a try.
