Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Virginia Beach (Oceanfront)

Great hotel with great views of ocean and beach. Great cement walkway along beach with benches. Room is great with modern decor furniture and extremely clean. New linens and bath towels and nice toiletries and room has great lighting. Heat and air very good. Had 8th floor. Awesome. Good breakfast. Scrambled eggs bacon toast pastries bagels cream cheese yogurt coffee juices. Will stay here again. And Great rates with military discount. Pool does need humidity control in room. Water drops from ceiling into pool.

Our unit was very nice. It was compact but clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. We were surprised to find that the bathroom was not stocked with the usual amenities like enough soap, shampoo, shower cap, q-tips were not in bathroom. Towels were small. Breakfast was good but the breakfast hours should be extended to at least 10 AM. Location and balcony views were great, Overall our stay was very nice.

Mainly the receptionist! She was outstanding. But the rooms were very clean as well and breakfast offered a lot. My thermostat didn’t work so I had to turn heat off. My son turned cool on in his room. My sink plug wouldn’t work. Pool was a little of fun but hated the dripping from the ceiling.

The score would've been lower if it wasn't for the morning receptionist taking care of my concern. She was awesome and very pleasant and professional. The policy of having to call maintenance or security to bring a remote to simply switch a television over so one can play their gaming system is ludicrous and very inconvenient.Especially when the night staff, especially the security guard caught and attitude because i called him out about being dishonest about coming to my room which he never did, until I had to come down to the front lobby. The next day the receptionist listened to my concerns, and gave me a remote which I greatly appreciated. I extended my stay because of her customer service. .Customer service excellent-check in great. Room wasn't ready but provided us with card to park, access the property,and notified as soon as room ready. Room very neat and clean with beautiful ocean views on the balcony. Breakfast very tasty. Good food choices available. Best of all though was we left a valuable item in room when we checked out. Didn't even miss it till we got home. going to call them to see if item was found but already had a message from hotel that item was safe and arrangements were quickly in place for our daughter to pick it up.,
