Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Norman near University

This place was actually trashy coming into our room it looked nice until we noticed the couch bed had pee all over it, there was pee all over the closet floor, the tub was full of hair and the tvs hardly worked) and the Service was the weakest thing ever, when first arriving the front counter lady was extremely rude and would always have something rude to say. Every time she saw us she would pull the sign out saying the pool was closed. When asking for towels or for room service she would catch attitudes (I love all the other staff, especially the night time lady). They don't tell you about hidden fees when asking for towels and that you get charged by the weeks you stay instead of one time pay.

Not impressed with this hotel. Thought it was a quick stay near the university and fair price. I over looked the low rating. Hotel is actually bad. Room was dirty. Killed multiple roaches in our room. Got in close to midnight after 12 hour drive. Room did not get to be a good temp bc the ac unit was broke. Staff at desk wasn’t going to tell me what the incidental charge was for the half night I was there, kept demanding my id and card. I had to ask three times. The incidental hold was 100$ while most places are $50 and I was only there to sleep midnight and left by 10 am. The bathroom in room was disgusting. And multiple things broke like the sink which leaked on floor when turned on and the shampoo on shower wall was broken off. Atleast bed was comfy and didn’t have roaches on bed. Only

Positive: Breakfast is good but some improvements are required. Orange and apple juice were good most days but one the tastes were off. I confirmed it with another person. The breakfast is the same everyday. it needs variety. Negative: The wifi went out and my room only have hot water. it took the next day to fixed it. It was an inconvenience.

Quaint and cozy. It is a well priced clean hotel. Hot breakfast of eggs, sausage links, waffles, choice of 3 cereals, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, water, whole grain and white bread for making toast, and mini muffins. The pool was out of order with a sign posted at the front desk letting guests know at check in. I have no complaints and would happily stay here again.

Horrible experience. Kids were sad that the pool was closed. But the worst part were multiple bugs crawling around our bathroom when we opened the door. One big cockroach and some smaller bugs, not sure what they were. Plus multiple dead ones. Would not recommend. Kids running up and down the hallways making tons of noise. Walls seem thin because we could hear crickets or some other bug making noise all night. I have videos and pictures of them literally crawling around the bathroom, but can't figure out how to post them. Front desk didn't seem to care, just gave us a different room.
