We had a room by the pool side. Very clean. I was offered help in by staff when they saw me carrying multiple bags. Front desk was nice, even when my teen asked a dumb question. Most of the breakfast was good. The bad: The issue is there was 2 sets of curtains. 1 heavy that was designed to only close 2/3 of the way. The second was a medium sheer curtain that closed all the way. Only you could see through it when at the pool if there was a light on in the room. Also it allowed a bright light at the pool to shine on the face of the person in the second bed all night. The biscuits at breakfast were dry and did not crumble like they were fresh or even semi fresh. The gravy was more like a gravy jello. Eggs tasted good but room temp.
Okay hotel! The only thing was my pillow cases were all stained which was nasty. Asked for clean was and was immediately given. Hotel room seems kinda old but was somewhat clean. However famlies with kids were loud and annoying the whole time I was there making it hard for me to sleep. Yelling and screaming children in the halls at 2 in the morning? The location was not like I thought at all. I think famlies are bringing kids here for parties and pool time rather then sleep making it harder for those that travled to see loved ones.
We were greeted with a tile floor that our shoes were sticking to so I mopped the floor with hot water and a towel that turned white to a filthy brown. So I took the towel down to the front desk and showed her and her only response was that she would let housekeeping know. Then we could not access the pool area because apparently the readers are broken. So I had to get the front desk get me into the pool area where I found that the timer for the hot tub (a primary reason for booking) was broken and when the front desk person told me how to make it operate I found that although the spa was an appropriate temperature the jet system must also be malfunctioning because it was weak and only at several locations. I then showed the same towel to the front desk in the morning and asked for our roo
I just returned home from my family trip to Muskegon Michigan and loved my two night stay at this hotel. They have both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool which are very nice. The room was clean and smelled fantastic! Breakfast was also very good and included eggs, sausage, toast, waffles, etc. I highly recommend this hotel. My only complaint was that the bathroom sink could've been cleaned better.
Rooms were comfy but needed more thorough cleaning. The pool atrium was really neat and has arcade for kids and adults. The staff was friendly and breakfast area had plenty of room and felt warm and welcoming. Perfect location next to Trinity Medical center.
