Coneflower Campground

This campground has plenty of spots, ranging from primitive to full hookups. We had a 30 amp pull thru site that works well for us. The weeds were a little tall, and it could have been mowed at our site. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the trails and the access to bike trails. Easy to set up and dumping was also easy.

Made me fall in love with fall camping. Gorgeous views, abundant wildlife. 24 hour access and self-registration made the experience even better as we were in the process of moving.

Nice quiet clean campground. We were there for the 4th of July. Appreciated keeping the fireworks out of the park so we and our dog could sleep.

Love this area. Wish they would make sure all site had a grill grate or grill. My site didnt have one so it made it challenging to cook. Site across has 2. They also need to empty the trash more often. Every time we are out here is is so full!

The campground is large and suites any type of camping. We had a 30 amp pull through and even though we ran at most 18 amps, our power flickered more than 5 times. It was due to low voltage on the pedestal, luckily we have an EMS protector. In addition there are no recycling bins.(Least impressive COE we've been to, this would be our 7th COE since April). The grounds itself was sub par due to the staff or long term folks that kept their sites looking like hobo's. The bathroom facilities are very outdated. I am still amazed that even though we paid for camping on top of that there is a $5.00 per vehicle/day permit. The positive.... The dump station is well set up. There is an abundance of wildlife, boating, biking, and hiking. Being close to town makes it great to dine, shop or check out
