Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Hinesville, GA

Ok starting off with the good. I’m giving 4 stars but a 3.5 isn’t an option. Liked the hotel location and everything is kept up nice in the lobby and the room with some exceptions. Service wonderful. Love the floors as I hate carpet in hotels so great job on that and the furniture is great. Now for the downsides. 1. If you workout prepare yourself because the gym is awful. The AC, TV or Elliptical worked and that treadmill should be trashed. Only the bike worked. Didn’t use the sauna. 2. None of the outlets in our bathroom worked at all. We advised the front desk. 3. The shower had an awful high pitched noise that was awful. Again advised the front desk. None of these are enough not to stay here again because overall nice. But for the money being charged, everything should be

The room was extremely disgusting, something out of a nightmare. The furniture was run down. Stains were everywhere. The outside doors were propped open or broken and security was definite questionable. The room smelled horrible. We were so tired upon arrival but we stayed up cleaning for hours because we had already paid. It took the front desk clerk and myself to get the sofa bed took come out. They checked another room to move us into after seeing the condition but the other vacant room was worse. The person that checked us in was very helpful but the person that checked us out was horrible. Overall I will never stay here again or recommend anyone else to stay.

Our nine-hour drive for our grandson's graduation ended in a terrible ordeal at Country Inn & Suites Hinesville. Our first instinct to leave hit us the moment we stepped off the elevator and saw the filthy hallway carpet. Then, our room key failed twice, and the front desk clerk's unprofessionalism was astounding; she talked about needing to urinate, then grabbed a screwdriver, master key, and battery pack, all while reeking of cigarette smoke, showing no concern for our urgent situation.|The room itself was appalling. A strong musty smell, stained ceilings, and broken lamps greeted us. The air conditioner vents were clogged with massive dust bunnies. The hardwood floor was dull and sticky, and the bathroom had rusty stains and what looked like water damage running from behind an outlet.|W

Live Cockroach found in room. No tidy up service to the room. Ie bed made. New towels or the removal of used towels WIFI kept going out after a few hours. Plugs for devices would not charge Coffee cup from breakfast area lost its bottom (in the elevator) (coffee had been in the cup just a few minutes) luckily only spilled all over our shoes, not on me as I was holding the cup away from me, thank goodness) found out that I was not the only one who had this happened to

The hotel staff was nice and worked with what they had. Upon entering there is an old smell. Rug was spotty and needed cleaning. Water leaking in elevator. How safe was that? The carpet needs to be ripped out in the entire hotel. Our room was small and smelled old. Bed appeared clean and was made, but the windows shade was spotted from previous leaks, floors needed mopping, bathroom sink was stopped up, tub was rusty. The chair in the room was soiled. We paid $343 and 5 minutes later the desk rep said it would be 7-10 days for a refund. I disputed the charge. They need to close and remodel.
