Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fond du Lac, WI

I would definitely stay here again - overall a nice facility. Definitely in need of some updates but very comfortable - absolutely love the tub. If I was staying more than a night or two I would bring my own blanket. It's very close to Loves & the highway, but wasn't too loud. Front desk lady was new (she shared) but very kind and helpful =)

Easy access from 41/151. Clean, helpful staff. The heating was a bit funky. A staff member had to help us regulate it, and the fan blew constantly. I'm not a fan sleeper, so I didn't sleep well with the constant blowing and sound. Also, breakfast was somewhat limited. In fairness, we were there Monday and Tuesday, so weekends would probably be much better.

A group of us stay there a few times a year and this morning was one of those times. We unexpectedly had to check out early and were met with rudeness and refusal to remove our charge of the night, even though it was 6am.. I stay in a few dozen hotels a year and have never had issue checking out early and have never encountered such an angry guy working the front desk.

If I could give this place Zero stars, I would, other than location. Breakfast Dining: breads and pastries were hard and stale. I alerted staff who then threw out the old food and placed newer food in the bins. Room: We placed a Do Not Disturb the first two days there since we were not in need of any new towels or getting the beds made. On day 3, we took off the Do Not Disturb sign and also mentioned to front desk that we would like our room taken care of. We came back later to find that the beds were unmade still, and all of the towels had disappeared. No fresh towels! Alerted front desk and woman said that happens sometimes. Positive: Staff was friendly Negative: Shades were broke and didn’t close all the way. Pillows were on top of one bed as if they forgot to set them up.
